Placement CMS/DRL in EEG + ECG + GSR measurement

Hi,

I am planning an experiment in which I will record EEG, ECG (for heart rate variability) and GSR. I am using BioSemi ActiveThree. For the ECG measurement I am planning to use a modified lead-II configuration (negative electrode on the right clavicle, positive electrode on the iliac crest).

I have read that ideally the CMS is placed in the middle of the recording electrodes. In my case, where would you advise to place the CMS (and DRL)? Will locating the CMS/DRL on the body instead of the head increase noise in the EEG channels?

Thank you in advance!

Julie
