Tomek,

Let's try to determine how your USB interface differs from what we've been
testing on.

I'll send you some instructions in a private message.

Hi all,
I have the same problem as mentioned above. We have a very old USB receiver and even though we've recently got a firmware update on it, we still get an error 5000. The system works fine with our new receiver, but ideally we'd like to use both, so we don't have to swap receivers whenever we want to test in another experimental booth.

I have tried pretty much everything that has been suggested in this thread, including installing older versions, exchanging labview_DLL files (every combination of it) the Sync tests returns the same as for other people, code 3 instead of code 2.

I wonder if it is possible to get an old version of the usb driver? this seems to have helped someone in this thread.
any other suggestions are welcome as well.

Your old USB receiver with updated firmware is fully compatible with the new driver (we tested your receiver before shipment).

You problem must be caused be something else, please contact support directly

Best regards, Coen (BioSemi)

Do you hear the any sound when connecting and disconnecting the connection?

Do you see a brief flash of light USB link between when you press START ActiView, and when the error appears?

No sound and no flash means that there are still problems with the driver. If the sound and the flash appears, then there is another problem, probably hardware.
