Reducing EEG channels in bdf files

Post by Neo »

Hi there,

I'm trying to append bdf files from distinct experimental blocks to run subsequent analysis but it's sometimes impossible when the number of input channels during the EEG acquisition is not equal from one bdf file to another (even though all the participants were recorded with a 128 electrodes cap). Is there a way of reducing the number of channels in a bdf file using more or less a strategy similar to the Decimator when down-sampling raw bdf files?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers,
Neo.

An application to reduce the number of channels in a BDF file is best based on the LabVIEW code of the filecropper (http://www.biosemi.com/download/Cropper.zip).

Hi, I've been having the same problems. I would like to reduce the number of channels in my .BDF file without loading it. Is it possible to do that without using the LabView code? Thanks!
