Events missing with large file import to EEGlab

Dear all,
When importing .bdf files to EEGLAB with the BIOSIG toolbox from the GUI, events disappear in lage files.
It seems like there is something like channel bleed into most EEG channels, see attachment A which is a 38 minute 64 EEG + ABR recording (speedmode 13).
This does not happen with short files, see attachment B which is a 10 second recording with the same setup.
Does anyone know of a workaround? Or does anyone know the approximate file size at which this happens so I can crop appropriately?
