editing channel order in .cfg file

Post by Shanna »

We are using a 64 + 8 channel system and when we run ActiView using the default .cfg file the electrodes are listed in order based on whether they are on the left or right side of the head. Is there some way to edit the channel order in the .cfg file (or elsewhere) such that the electrode order in the monopolar display runs from anterior to posterior and does not separate the order based on laterality? Thanks!

The channel order can be changed in the LabVIEW code (in the convert_xx.vi subvi's). Basic LabVIEW knowledge is enough to do this. The channel labels in the CFG then need to be adjusted to match the new channel order. However, it is not possible to change the channel order by just changing the CFG.
