Trace randomly fell completely flat

Post by mikewinuob »

I was wondering if anyone knows of why/has had a similar situation. I was running an experiment and everything was normal until the trace from all the electrodes randomly went completely flat. It showed no change at any point after that. The electrode offsets remained the same and nothing was changed about the hardware. Do you think this is a bug with the software?

Did you press the keyboard shortcut PgUp or PgDn with an earlier version of ActiView than 9.00 ? If yes, then the display switched to a different (empty) group of channels. BDF file is not affected.

Thanks for your reply Coen.

I am using the newest version of Actiview. My participants could have pressed a button like up or down. Are there any other keyboard prompts I should know about/ where can we find info on this?

Version 9.00 (latest) has the following keyboard shortcuts:

- ENTER = Start
- HOME = Reset baselines (display only)
- F1-F8 = Triggers 9-16

All other keyboard shortcuts (Up/Down, Left/Right, PgUp/PgDn) that were available in older versions of ActiView have been deleted in version 9.00.
