Hi,

My department has been using an Active One system with a PCI-DIO-32HS Acquisition Card and a conventional PC, but know we want our system to be more portable, as we need to move frequently from one room to another.

When we bougth our system a few years ago we couldn't use an acquisition card in a laptop, because we are acquiring 64 channels. Is it still the same, or now we can acquire another acquisition card and use it in a laptop?

In case we couldn't use a different PCI card, is there any other possibility (USB, etc)?

Thanks in advance

The PCMCIA version of the National Instruments digital I/O card can indeed only handle approx 32 channels. For the ActiveOne, no alternative is available.

Our USB2 interface (http://www.biosemi.com/receiver.htm) works great with laptops for all (256) channels, but it is only available for ActiveTwo systems. Please contact me directly, we offer an attractive ActiveOne --> ActiveTwo upgrade deal to our customers.

Best regards, Coen (BioSemi)
