We recently upgraded our BIOSEMI system from its original 32 channels 64 channels. The problem we have is that all of the new electrodes you have sent us are even numbered and designed for the right hemisphere, we assume that in the 64 channel set up the other 32 electrodes are assigned to the left hemisphere. Unfortunately our original 32 electrodes are labelled and setup to cover the entire head and as a result some of the new electrodes duplicate the original electrodes on the right hemisphere. We assume that either the original 32 electrodes or the additional new electrodes must be adapted and re-labelled with the stickers provided. Does anyone have experience of this issue? Are we correct to presume that simply re-labelling one of the electrode sets will solve this problem so the Actiview can recognise the system as a legitimate 64 channel configuration and does anyone know of a particular system for doing this?
Thanks for any help

You should indeed use the provided labels to relabel the A set according to http://www.biosemi.com/pics/cap_64_layout_medium.jpg . In addition, you should use the 64-chan CFG file in ActiView (instead of the 32-chan CFG you have used previously). The CFGs are on the CD provided with the system.
