Potential continuous bridging at central electrodes

Post by Ciara »

We are using an ActiView 128 channel system and are having an issue with many of our participants wherein the central electrodes (A1/A2/A3/B1/B1/B20/D1) are very fuzzy in appearance and worsen on reapplication of gel. Applying more gel also appears to worsen them and nearby electrodes. The specific electrodes affected differ between participants but it is always central electrodes. This problem has only started to occur recently (in the last couple of participants) despite us successfully using this system to test many on several projects previously. Does anyone know what might be causing these issues/how it might be solved?
