We have been recording files at speed mode 4 (the speed it originally was set at when delivered) and decimation at 1/4 (512 Hz) , but want to set the speed mode to 2. The software won't let me start recording anything when i switch the speed over to 2. I have an mk2 box. Can you please help with this problem?

Speedmode 2 is for daisy-chaining only, use speedmodes 4-7, see http://www.biosemi.com/faq/adjust_samplerate.htm
