Re: Disinfection of EEG caps and cleaning of electrodes

Thanks Robbie!

So just to be clear - it is not ok to brush them with a gentle toothbrush when cleaning them?

Re: Disinfection of EEG caps and cleaning of electrodes

I didn't want to start a new topic as my question fits pretty well here: when i learned how to use the Biosemi system back in 2004, we were told to wash the electrodes in hot water only using our fingers to get the gel out, so as not to scrape off any AgAgCl and kink/break electrodes off their wirin...

I was informed that the Visage digital output port is on pins 1-9 (DOUT0-8 ), pin 11 (DOUT9) and pin 10 (ground). I've got the parallel cable going into the Visage's port's pins 1-8 connected to pins 1-8 of the biosemi, pin 10 connected to pin 37 (ie ground) and I haven't shorted any of the remainin...

triggers to biosemi from CRS Visage?

Hi, I've just setup my new Biosemi system. As a stimulation computer, I want to use one with a Visage system from CRS. Visage uses TLL triggering same as Biosemi. I've tried running an old script which succesfully produced triggers with the other EEG system we have in the lab. However I cannot see a...

hi, i'm sorry if my email has offended you. My aim was not to spread any rumours at all, but to obtain reasonable counterarguments. I have now asked this person to come forward with a reference that supports his claim, which I obviously find contrary to my own experience and my own research publishe...

recording of high frequency oscillatory activity

hi, i'm trying to get my dept to aquire a biosemi system. i did my phd in leipzig on high frequency oscillatory activity in visual object representation. I used a biosemi system and was delighted by the signal-to-noise ratio which gave me excellent data. however, a lecturer who is considered to be a...

ActiveTwo in sleep research?

I'm curious to know if it is possible to adapt ActiveTwo system for use in sleep research. It seems to me that, compared to a classical sleep setup, it would provide a myrad of advantages for quantitative analysis of sleep EEG, e.g. better signal-to-noise ratio and more electrodes so that of certain...
