Re: EDFlib for Java

Hello Graham, I'm glad to hear you like it. If your goal is just hobby/fun, then go with solution #2. If, on the other hand, you want to create a more serious application that also can be used for research, then my advice is to investigate why the hardware "looses" samples and try to fix that instea...

Hello Qian,

EDFbrowser is more a general viewer. It has some filters, tools and converters but nothing particular for GSR.

Re: Converting bdf file configuration post-hoc

No need to split and merge your file. EDFbrowser has a tool to reduce the number of channels in your file. It has also a tool to (safely) edit the header (signallabels), regardless the size of your file. http://www.teuniz.net/edfbrowser/ http://www.teuniz.net/edfbrowser/EDFbrowser%20manual.html#Redu...

I'm not completely sure if I understand you well, but what you might need is the "Print to BDF" function in EDFbrowser.

Display the (derivated) signal and go to File -> Print -> to BDF.

EDFbrowser reads and shows trigger inputs.

EDFbrowser now has support for Biosemi's "Status" signal in two ways: When opening a "genuine" Biosemi data file in EDFbrowser, it will show the Trigger Inputs in the annotationwindow. Like normal annotations, it will also draw a vertical dashed white line on the screen for every trigger. This behav...

EDFbrowser & annotation editor

EDFbrowser has got an annotation editor.

You can add, remove and edit annotations/events.

Old-style BDF-files can be edited as well, they will be saved in BDFplus-
format which is backward-compatibel with BDF.

It is available for download here:
