Re: hardware filters
Which "analog box" exactly are you talking about ?
It must be something else than a BioSemi AIB (https://www.biosemi.com/aib.htm) because the BioSemi box only has a digital optical output (and it is unlikely that you can measure anything meaningful from this optical data stream).

Re: BIOSEMI Trigger and EEGLAB reading events
ActiveTwo Mk1 and Mk2 (as well as the new ActiveThree) systems use exactly the same BDF file format (https://www.biosemi.com/faq/file_format.htm). In particular, storing of the 16 trigger lines in the Status channel is the same for all systems. The only difference between Mk1 and Mk2 files is the MS...

Re: Older Versions Repository? Looking for ActiView Version 705
Use the current 9.02 version, it works with every ActiveTwo system (even as old as from 2002). You might have to upgrade the firmware of your USB-receiver to use it with Windows 10/11, see https://www.biosemi.com/faq/install_USB.htm.

Re: hardware filters
The BioSemi system has DC amplifiers, there is no high-pass filter. Check the signal in ActiView with the (display) filters switched off. You have either a high-pass in your file reader, or you have capacitively coupled the trigger line to the Analog Input Box.

Re: Hyperscanning with LabStreamingLayer
With the triggered hyperscanning method, the data files from the two (or more) systems are merged into a single hyperscanning file offline. So it is not possible to stream hyperscanning data during the recording.

According to the LSL website it should work with ActiveTwo (2 and 2.5), but that's all I know.

Re: Hyperscanning with LabStreamingLayer
You can Hyperscan with the Active3 and Active2.5 system using the method described on https://www.biosemi.com/faq/Hyperscanni ... erface.htm .
It is not possible to use LSL for ActiveThree Hyperscanning.

ADC11 are Mk1 systems (20 years old), they do not work with the new red receiver. You should use the older type white receiver.

Re: How to open .cgf
The CFG file stores all ActiView control settings, the channel labels, and a few system settings (e.g. how response switch signals are linked to triggers). ActiView opens with the default.cfg file. On the About/Configure tabpage, you can read a CFG file (for example a CFG with 32-chan settings and 1...

Re: Detailed review on the concept of offset?
Google on "opamp buffer output impedance". With active electrodes, the electrode impedances in the interference paper (Ze in Fig. 1) are reduced from tens of kOhm to less than an Ohm, and the magnitude of interference is reduced with the same ratio.

Re: Detailed review on the concept of offset?
1. What is the definition of offset? The electrode-gel-skin interface forms a galvanic half-cell. The half-cell potential is determined by the electrode metal. The offset voltage is the potential difference between two of these half-cells. When the electrodes are identical (same metal and perfectly ...

The above is not a standard option in ActiView that can be enabled with a CFG setting. Bipolar display for all channels would require changing the (open source LabVIEW) source code.

That depends on whether the evoked responses also alternate in polarity. With ABR for example, that's not the case (so the noise trace still shows the noise).

Re: Active Two Questions (CM. ABR, etc.)
The trigger port needs TTL level signals. In order to connect an audio line signal, you will need to convert to TTL with a comparator and flip-flop. The accuracy of trigger timing is one sample length, see https://www.biosemi.com/faq/review_trigger_timing.htm

Re: Editing 32-channels in default.cfg
Do not edit CFGs in Notepad.
Open ActiView, set the controls according to your preferences, make a short data file, select the "about" tabpage and save your front-panel settings in a new CFG.

Re: ActiView TCP server
Filtering the TCP outputs is not a standard option in ActiView, it is only possible by modifying the (open source LabVIEW) code. You could consider programming a simple low pass in you C++ client. High frequency interference on the photo sensor signal is usually caused by 100 Hz fluctuating light fr...
