For the past 2 years, i've working with my colleagues to come up with designs for electrodes that work with afro-textured hair. We realised the only way to actually get these into the world is unfortunately a business, so here we are doing this work
Would love for you all to give it a look (synaptiveltd.co.uk), we're looking for labs to help us validate this, but also licensees like OEMs who might be interested in adopting. With the general aim of reducing the health inequalities/data disparities that exist in our field purely because the hardware is not designed for these people.
