EPrime Extra Trigger

Post by maxlab »

Hello,

I am having an issue with extra EPrime triggers showing up in BioSemi. Once or twice every 30 trials, two numbers will stack on top of each other as shown in the pictures below. One of the numbers is a repeat of a trigger that happens a second or so later. This seems to have happened spontaneously. I have tried restarting the computer, regenerating the file, disconnecting and reconnecting the BioSemi hardware, checking that RespSwitch = "0" in the configuration file, and changing the triggers to be 1, 2, 4, 8, etc at the advice given to another topic, but none of these have fixed the problem. Is there anything you can think of that may have caused this? What can I do to troubleshoot further?

Thank you for your help!

The triggers should be 20, 21, 22, and 23. The events for 21 and 22 happen very close together. This is an image of a trial including the extra trigger. There is a 23 overlapping with 21, and 22 is beneath them.

Try sending a zero after each trigger.
