I have a quite old Biosemi system with a USB receiver with a firmware older than 4.0.
I use a Windows 10 acquisition system, so I followed the instructions on your website https://www.biosemi.com/faq/install_USB.htm and manage to record data this summer.
Today, after a pause of 3 months, I wanted to record data again and I could not.
On the USB receiver the diode of the optic link was on, but not the one of the USB link. And the acquisition software gave the following error message:
ADC-box power is off
or
Optical fiber is disconnected
One more thing when I connect the USB cable to the computer I can hear the sound mentioned on the webpage.
Could you please let me know how to fix this problem?
Best regards
Aurélie
Problem with the USB interface
Re: Problem with the USB interface
just to complete my post. I unplugged and re-plugged the USB cable with no success.
Re: Problem with the USB interface
Please check the below 6 points:
https://www.biosemi.com/faq/AD-box%20sh ... 0stops.htm
How is the USB Receiver shown in the Device manager?
With or without an exclamation mark?
If you have access to another W10 PC, than try the USB receiver on that PC (no drivers are needed, just click and play when you have firmware 4.0)

Re: Problem with the USB interface
Thank you for your response.
I tried another USB port and it works now!
It was plugged to a SS USB port and is now plugged to a regular one.
The USB receiver never had an exclamation mark in the Device manager.
However I cannot find the USB serial converter, though I can record triggers!
