Hello:
I am trying to build a cable to communicate a NI card (USB-6218) with Biosemi USB receiver. The idea is to send an 8 bit message (number) to Biosemi's receiver using 8 digital outputs of the card as a parallel port. I've managed to create the port in the card and send it through 8 different cables.
The problem is that I don't know which pin in the Biosemi cable corresponds to the first 8 channels that will read the receiver.
I have a DB25 connector but, which pins (channels) should I connect?
The first 8?
I'm assuming pin 37 is ground. Am I right?
Thank you
Jose

The problem with that is it doesn't talk about the DB25 connector and it's pins. Using a tester I realize that there isn't a direct match between DB25 pins and DB37 pins. Actually pin 1 in DB25 is not pin 1 in DB37. Pins 2-9 corresponds to pins 1-8 in DB37.

You are correct, see http://www.biosemi.com/faq/presentation.htm
