Hi,
I would like to measure the amount of external noise in my Biosemi setup using the two-bucket test connected with a 10 or 100 kOhm resistor (as described on page 24 here: http://www.cortechsolutions.com/getmedi ... veTwo.aspx).
Can I use copper wire to connect the resistor between the two buckets? I've read elsewhere that no other metal should go in the same water as the BioSemi electrodes. If not copper, what should I use?
Thanks for the help,
-Ben

Re: Two-bucket test for external noise measurement
Use silver wire or passive silver or silver-silverchloride electrodes. You are right that you should prevent contamination of the water with non-silver metal ions (may cause increased noise and offsets of the active electrodes).
