Is there a chance to open ActiView in other resolution than one of the 4 listed? We have a 16:9 monitor working with 1680x1050, and would like to take advantage of the full desktop space.
Ideally, it would be best if ActiView was able to accept any resolution as a command line option. After all, this is just the size of the application window.
with best regards,
Jakub

The current consensus among customers and distributors seems to be that the next ActiView should be released in the following resolutions:
- 15-16” laptop – 1366 x 768
- 17” laptop and 20” LCD monitor – 1600 x 900
- 21-24” LCD monitor – 1920 x 1080
Modifying ActiView to accept any screen resolution is more complicated than you assume. Current LabVIEW is not a vector based program, so a display resize means that every control and indicator on the front-panel should be resized separately (by defining all the new size parameters in numbers of pixels). We can only hope that eventually a vector based version of LabVIEW will appear (National Instruments is well aware of this current disadvantage), since this would allow easy zoom in and out of both the front-panel and diagram.

Dear Coen,
Now I can see the problem. Wouldn't it be a big problem though, to add 1680 x 1050 resolution? As far as I can see this one is quite popular, especially for laptops, but we also have monitors here with this resolution.
best regards,
Jakub
