How to send trigger if I program in Python?

I am now working on an experiment program in Python. Does anybody have any sense of how to send trigger to the EEG data collected by biosmi system in Python? I mean how to code it. Is it the same as the software of Presentation?

By the way, I am using the Mac system. Many thanks in advance.

Did you ever make any headway on this problem? I'm also trying to send triggers using Python and would first like to know whether others have done it successfully.
