How to report EMG parameters for BioSemi?

Post by walrus »

Hi,

Can anybody give me a good paper which utilized BioSemi to conduct EMG study?

Basically, we need the information like input impedence, CMRR, SNR, actual gain... I have checked the fields of the strucutre read by openbdf but cannot find them.

I know that Biosemi has special electrode design, feedback loop, do not care too much about the impedence of skin...,etc. However, these fields have been traditionally required for a formal study report; or, how can I report by Biosemi system?

Best Wishes

Walrus

thanks for your information!

May I ask another question?

I found that even if I set online filter, the recorded file seems to be the raw data (unfiltered data), is that right?

You are right: signals to file are unfiltered (besides the anti-aliasing filter depending on the sample rate) and unreferenced.

Only the controls in the right sidebar affect the BDF file. Controls in the left sidebar only affect the display, they do not affect the BDF file.

Best regards, Coen (BioSemi)
