Timing Test with Oscilloscope?

Post by cunningam.668 » Mon Apr 21, 2014 7:43 pm

Hello,

I am trying to perform a timing test for an experiment using Presentation, with Biosemi acquisition software. Our lab has a parallax USB oscilloscope with a photocell, however no one in the lab can seem to remember how to use it with this system. Would any of you be able to walk me through this?

You can test the timing of the stimulus setup by connecting the photocell to one input, and the trigger output to the other input of the oscilloscope. Then analyze the timing between photocell responses and triggers.

If you want to test the timing of the complete setup including BioSemi acquisition, then you need the purchase the BioSemi photo sensor including ERGO input (while you do not need the oscilloscope).

Best regards, Coen (BioSemi)
