Trigger from a Presentation logfile to BDF file

Post by PsychAnna »

Hello,

I have a problem with some files. The triggers from the Presentation experiment didn't have to be saved into the BDF file. Presentation saves a logfile with the Trigger numbers and the time and I wanted to ask, if it is possible to import the trigger from this file into the BDF file after the experiment? That would be great!

Thank you for your help!

The triggers from presentation must be acquired through the trigger port on the USB-receiver. All Triggers offered to the trigger port are always saved in the BDF file with proper timing. If triggers are missing from the BDF file, then there is a hardware or Presentation error. Triggers cannot be added to the BDF file afterwards.

- Use positive trigger logic
- Trigger duration must be longer then one sample period
- Use "analog" trigger display for fault finding

Thank you for your answer! A hardware error is possible. I will have a look for that tomorrow! Thanks for the advice!

Best regards, Anna
