I'm running an experiment where I as the experimenter occasionally use the function keys to insert triggers; when I look at the status channel in EEGLab, there are two events when I do this--one with the code 511, and one with the code 255. I haven't been able to find any information about what code the function keys send, so can anybody tell me what's going on? More specifically, which event is the actual keypress?

One code when you press the function key, other code when you release the key.
