Hello,
I working on a study with over 255 event codes and am trying to send 16 bit event codes via a parallel port instead of 8 bit event codes. I am trying to send event codes via E-Prime using an ActiveTwo system. I currently am using a DB37 (Parallel Port) to DB25 (Computer) cable. To send 16 bit codes, do I need to replace this cable? And if so, is this the only necessary step for being able to send 16 bit codes from E-Prime to BioSemi?

You need to make a new cable (that drives pin 1-16 of the 37-pole port, not just the first , and make sure that E-prime can actually drive more than 16 pins of the 25-pole parallel output port.
