Dear BioSemi,
Please could you tell me what reference is used when recording EEG data? I use 128 channel setup with 8 external electrodes for A1, A2, M1, M2, HEOG1, HEOG2, VEOG1, VEOG2. I appreciate that the left hand side of the screen has an option to choose references but this is for display purposes isnt it? Please help!

All controls located in the left sidebar only influence the displayed data, they do not influence the data to file. The data to file is controlled by controls in the right sidebar, and by the selections in the file dialog. So, the reference selection does indeed not influence the data to file.

The issue of the reference in raw data has been beaten to dead by now, see for example viewtopic.php?t=73 and viewtopic.php?t=177 and viewtopic.php?t=33. Please note that this forum has a search function !
