Making a config file

Hello,
We are new to BioSemi and Actiview. We are trying to run an experiment where we will be recoding EMG startle responses, Skin Conductance Response and Heart Rate. Right now we have connected the EMG electrodes to the EX1 and EX2 ports in the biosemi, the HR electrodes in EX3 and EX4, skin conductance in the GSR port, and the grounding electrodes in the CMS/DRL.
We are unsure how to make/save a configuration file that reflects these settings. Do we have to directly edit the txt file (and if so, how?) or is there a way to make this configuration changes in actiview and then save this config file?
