I have been running an experiment through PsychoPy for a while now, and everything seemed to work fine. All triggers are shown in ActiView as programmed, but about 25% of triggers that were shown in ActiView are not saved in the .bdf output file. What could be causing this loss of data in the output file?
Thanks in advance,
Celine

Re: Triggers shown in ActiView during recording, but not saved
ActiView is open-source. You can check in the source code that it is impossible that triggers shown during recording are not saved in the BDF file. The problem is surely in your file reader. Check with ActiRead ( http://www.biosemi.com/download/ToolsFo ... 02-Win.zip ).

Re: Triggers shown in ActiView during recording, but not saved
Dear Coen,
Thank you very much for your response! I can indeed see in ActiRead and EDFbrowser that all triggers were saved in binary format. I'm using Letswave 6 to read and preprocess the data. A portion of the decimal triggers are missing in Letswave, although I have never encountered any issues with loading .bdf files into Letswave. Do you have any suggestions as to how I could solve this or which alternative to Letswave I could use for the preprocessing?
Kind regards,
Celine
