Saving an experiment as mulitple BDF files

Good afternoon,
I was wondering something. Actiview has a potential great option of setting a max file size and every time this is reached creating a new .bdf file.
This is superb when storing data for multiple years, so that in the case of corruption of files not instantly the whole dataset is gone, but maybe only a part.

My big question is about the timing. In the time it takes actiview to save, create a new file, and start recording, is there any potential for lost data?

Ample buffering ensures that the files join seamlessly, not a single sample is lost. In case of an hickup, ActiView will always stop with an error message.

By the way, you can join and split BDF files afterwards with ActiTools ( https://www.biosemi.com/download/ToolsF ... 01-Win.zip ).
