Dear BioSemi,

We have recently installed Actiview for Linux on a Ubuntu 18.04 machine. We followed suggestions from the following blog post for the install:

However, once we run the software most of the characters are in chinese encoding. see the attachment below.

This might due to the Ubuntu version, the new release may have some compatible issues.

However, I will look into this problem soon.

We are about to release a new beta version of Actiview for Linux, this version should solve your issues.
Actiview 804 beta should be available at the beginning of next week.
I will send you the Actiview 804 beta version ahead to the email address that you used to register on this forum
