Triggering with BioSemi Active 2

Post by wmeinhold »

Hi, I am new to this system, and have a question about the trigger inputs.
The trigger box sets the input pins to 3.3V when nothing is connected.
As far as I can tell, the only way to change this is by shorting the inout so that the voltage across the pins goes to 0.
I would like to trigger off of the signal from an accelerometer, or really just any signal, is it possible to do this?

Thank You

The trigger inputs have an internal 10 kOhm pull up resistor. Your trigger signal must be TTL level (Low = 0V, High is 3.3-5V), and must be able to drive the 10 kOhm resistor (be able to pull the input below approx. 1V).

Best regards, Coen (BioSemi)
