Pin connection on the Parallel Port Cable

Hello:
I am trying to build a cable to communicate a NI card (USB-6218) with Biosemi USB receiver. The idea is to send an 8 bit message (number) to Biosemi's receiver using 8 digital outputs of the card as a parallel port. I've managed to create the port in the card and send it through 8 different cables.
The problem is that I don't know which pin in the Biosemi cable corresponds to the first 8 channels that will read the receiver.
I have a DB25 connector but, which pins (channels) should I connect?
The first 8?
I'm assuming pin 37 is ground. Am I right?
Thank you
Jose
