Massive 16Hz contamination from GSR sensor

Post by Alexandre »

Hello,

We are willing to record GSR alongside EEG, we are using the 16Hz SC coupler.
When connected to the subjects finger, I can see a good GSR signal and how it is modified by subjects taking a deep breath.
But the EEG channels are all massively contaminated by 16Hz (barbwire look to quote from another topic in this forum), so I had to disconnect it for my experiments. I tried to follow the guidelines I read but with no luck.

Any suggestion ?

Thanks,

Alex

If ALL channels are equally contaminated, then you have a Common Mode problem. Probable causes are referencing errors, and/of suboptimal mounting of the CMS/DRL electrodes. Please contact your local BioSemi representative for specific help.
