All offsets exceed +262 mV and CMS/DRL light blinking

We have been having a problem in our lab with the offsets exceed +262 mV and CMS/DRL light blinking. When the ERP starts, all the electrodes are fine, and measuring in an appropriate range. We first incountered the problem when trying to correct the C1 pin electrode offset. After pulling out C1 and regelling, all the electrodes were not reading and the CMS/DRL light was blinking. We had to pull the C1 electrode out for that assessment. This has occured a few times, and just this last time we had to pull out B1 also. I just spoke to another lab mate and found that B1 gives her problems, not C1. Both electrodes look unharmed, and we are all being careful not to over-gel and form bridges.
Any idea?
Thanks,
Ashley

Electrodes B1 and C1 are probably defect (safety circuits are triggered, blue light flickers). Most probably cause are broken wire conductors. Test the electrodes in water to confirm the defects (see manual). Sent the sets to your local BioSemi representative for repair (replace connector, or replace defect electrodes).

Best regards, Coen (BioSemi)

Thank you very much for your kind help.

We tried one-bucket test, and we did confirm that B1 electrode cause the problem. Although C1 electrode seemed to be fine during the test, it might be better to ask to fix it too, as we bought these electrodes almost two and a half years ago.
