To whom it may concern
I hope you are doing well
there is a question:
We are having a hyperscanning biosemi EEG setup (active2 amplifiers) in our lab.
we are having also optical sensors that they are connecting with a trigger box to our amplifiers.
we want to use lab streaming layer for our trigger but we dont know how to handle the optical sensors. do you have any suggestion for that?
I have checked that there are some aux ports in our amplifiers. can we use them for connecting directly our optical triggers to them?

Please describe the setup: which triggerbox and how is it connected to the amplifier and optical sensors ?

Best regards, Coen (BioSemi)

we are having two optical sensors that they are attached to two task monitors. these optical sensors are connected to a trigger box (cedrus StimTracker). at the same time there is a trigger that is coming from the task computer (Serial Port). the serial port and the optical sensor port will connect to another box with a 2 to one converter bord. that box then will connect to 2 amplifiers. as I checked the pins of the optical sensors are not compatible with AUX connectors on the amplifiers and if we want to use them, we should buy some other optical sensors. but in general the question is what is your suggestion for using lab streaming layer at the same time using optical sensors? I just want to make sure that everything be synchronized at some points.

Purchase 2 Photo-Sensors (http://www.biosemi.com/accessoires.htm), send your AD-boxes to add the ERGO inputs. Use the USB trigger interface (http://www.biosemi.com/faq/USB%20Trigge ... 0cable.htm) to input the triggers to the USB-Receiver (http://www.biosemi.com/receiver.htm). The optic sensor data and triggers are then all in the ActiveTwo data stream.

Best regards, Coen (BioSemi)
