Hi all,
I was wondering if there is any biosemi that can record 64 or more channels at 16KHz sampling rate. I checked this page (https://www.biosemi.com/faq/adjust_samplerate.htm) and saw that AD-box model MK2HS 'High-Speed' should be able to. Could you please confirm that is correct? Also, any opinions or thoughs about your experience with it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Fran

Re: 64 channels with 16KHz sampling rate?
AD-boxes can indeed be reprogrammed with HighSpeed firmware to allow 128+8+sensors channels at 16 kHz sample rate. Production date of the AD-box needs to be 2010 or later (serial ADC16-XX-XXXX or higher), the upgrade is free of charge. Older AD-boxes (ADC12-XX-XXXX or lower) need a new motherboard and connector board to allow the upgrade (extra costs).
Daisy Chaining (hyperscanning) and use of the Analog Input Box (AIB) is not possible with HighSpeed firmware.
Best regards, Coen (BioSemi)
