Dear Coen,
Thank you very much for your response. I found one defective flat active electrode. Removing the electrode from the system and replacing it with another active electrode seemed to correct the issue.
Best regards,
Tom.

Dear Coen, Thank you very much for your helpful advice. I take it that pin 32 of the trigger port on the USB receiver outputs a series of short pulses at 2048Hz in speed mode 4. This we should use to control the sampling of the position of the chair potentiometer by a separate ADC that then send a p...

Chair potentiometer; trigger duration recommendation Sp.Mo.4
Dear Coen and colleagues, Please I would appreciate and answers to a question about the minimal trigger duration in speed mode 4. We would like to record EEG with millisecond accuracy of event timing. We would like to send TTL codes that encode the position of a horizontally moving chair in which th...

Dear Coen, Please I would very much appreciate if you can advise us before we make any mistakes in buying recording PCs for our ActiveTwo systems with which we would acquire data with ActiView. We are considering changing our two very old 32-bit recording PCs running XP to some new recording PCs run...

bandwidth speed mode 4 decimation 1/4: 104, 134 or ?
Dear all, Please I ask for you help in answering a question about bandwidth on the ActiveTwo Speed Mode 4 with decimation 1/4 that leads to a sampling rate of 512 Hz. Various sources of information seem contradictory. We would like to report the bandwidth used for recording in a manuscript. We belie...

bdf channel extraction
Dear all,
I have had a look through some of the LabView utilities, but I do not think that any of them can extract one EEG channel from a bdf file, so as to save this as a (much smaller) bdf file containing just one channel.
Please, your suggestions are welcome.
Kind regards,
Tom.

'raw' reference ERP in BESA
Dear all, I write with a query concerning the BESA software, which I would be very grateful for responses to. We are working with ERPs derived in BESA 5.1 from .bdf files recorded with and Active-2 with the 'raw' reference. We would like use 'top data viewer' from the view menu to plot the ERPs for ...
