Re: How to capture analog data above 2kHz ?

Hello, Thank you for your quick reply. I do not have an ego input and my ports are already taken by a GSR/RESP port and an ABR port. Is there another way that would allow me to do that ? What about the GSR / Resp port, could I input some voltage to it ? My sensor is a Force Resistance Sensor. Thank ...

How to capture analog data above 2kHz ?

Hello, I need to capture analog signal from a sensor device. I have an AIB box, but I am confused by what I have read on the webpage. If I understood correctly, my AIB Box is useless for sample rates above 2kHz ? What is the easiest way then to aquire information from my sensor on a EXG channel, in ...

Massive 16Hz contamination from GSR sensor

Hello, We are willing to record GSR alongside EEG, we are using the 16Hz SC coupler. When connected to the subjects finger, I can see a good GSR signal and how it is modified by subjects taking a deep breath. But the EEG channels are all massively contaminated by 16Hz (barbwire look to quote from an...

Combo Input

Hello, In my lab we have several biosemi systems, complete with a whole bunch of accessories. I am willing to use GSR and respiration belt, for which I found that we have purchased the sensors. There is a dedicated input called "GSR Resp" on our amps. The GSR sensor fits and works well, the respirat...

Hi Hal,

Thanks for your comment.
Indeed, using a low stimulation rate and enough repetitions, I was able to get a clean response with the 5 waves present. Best

Thank you

Thank you for this fresh paper. So if I understand well you actually used mode 7 with conventional Biosemi electrodes ? Did you carry out your analyses with EEGLAB ? What about introducing a random jitter between two stimuli to avoid responses from previous trials ?

Thank you for your reply, I use the special ABR electrodes in speedmode 9. I am not using the online average, I do perform the averaging offline in matlab. I get a dstinguishable wave 5 but the other waves are quite messy. Indeed my problem has to do with noise. My main question was about the intens...

Any hint ?

Hello,

Does anybody use Biosemi for ABRs that could comment ?
Shall I rather email directly to support ?
Thank you

A.

How to get a clean Auditory Brainstem Response ?

Hello, I have the ABR system and using it in speedmode 9 to collect ABR to click sounds. I have some trouble obtaining a clean response that could be compared to a clinical ABR. I found this nice graph on your website http://www.biosemi.com/abr.htm You provide some details about how you generated th...

A way to monitor correct wiring
most interesting is to know how do you measure impedances and why?
Indeed I understood that because of active electrodes, no scrubbing is necessary, but still, how can i control that the contact between the electrodes and the skin is good enough (especially in the case of using paste ...

Importing referenced ABR data into EEGlab ?

Hello, I am a newbie and use the ABR recording software (Auditory Brainstem Recording) from BioSemi to carry out psychophysical experiments. When importing my BDF data in EEGlab I get the following message "We highly recommend that you choose a reference channel IF these are Biosemi data (e.g., a ma...
