Hi Coen, Thanks for the answer! What you are saying makes perfectly sense, and I admit that I did not think of it. I will try tomorrow playing with the location of the CMS-DRL. Should I understand that a protocol of double pulse (lets say with 30ms between the two pulses) meets the abilities of the ...

Simultaneous TMS - EEG

Hi to all We recently started using online TMS while recording EEG data with the BioSemi Actiview system. We noticed that the amplifier is recovering from saturation rapidly during the first trials (around 20 consecutive trials of 1.5 secs each) and then suddenly passes to a very slow recovery (>600...

Dear Coen, After running one subject that did not show the usual noise in P2/PO4 and one that did show it in P2, and having alternated the DRL position as discussed, I can tell you the following: A 50Hz peak was seen in Fourier transform at P2 in the subject that had noise in the raw data at this ch...

Thanks Coen It may be the explanation indeed, as an FFT that I run today showed a pick at 50Hz in PO4 that was almost absent in another near-by channel. After a 30Hz lowpass filter the raw data at PO4 looked much better though still a little noisier than other channels. I'll try to distance SMC and ...

a possible DRL problem

Dear Coen I would like to consult about a possible problem with CMS-DRL "pin-type" electrodes that may not be explained by a gel bridge. When mounting the 64 channel cap we get in most cases very high noise levels (actually a no-signal) in one or two electrodes adjacent to the DRL (in P2 and/or PO4)...

2 questions about reference

Hi Our lab recently started working with ActiveTwo system. I have 2 questions about reference to which I couldn't find direct answers so far. 1. While I recorded signals from some subjects, I noticed that whenever I choose to display the data with the reference option set on "none" (CMS and DRL), I ...
