noise
I just asked the subject to fully relax and look at the signal of bipolar lead (EMG). As you said, maybe the subject was not relaxed enough so that there are some physiological "noise". If we do have concern about noise, may we put the active electrodes in saline water to do a simple test? (as you s...

noise level
I'm also interested in this question. I have to analyze some data based on single trial basis. I found that for some subjects the noise level can be as large as 50 uV. After performing skin preparation (I know Biosemi does not need this), the noise level is still high. May I ask how to reduce the no...

Re: Design Concept
May I ask where is the paper posted?poppypetal wrote:Hi Coen,
Your papers are very useful for providing some outlines of the measurement requirements.
I also hope to have a quick look.

How to report EMG parameters for BioSemi?
Hi, Can anybody give me a good paper which utilized BioSemi to conduct EMG study? Basically, we need the information like input impedence, CMRR, SNR, actual gain... I have checked the fields of the strucutre read by openbdf but cannot find them. I know that Biosemi has special electrode design, feed...

hello, I'm walrus.
As an animal, I've nothing to introduce myself. I just begin to learn BioSemi. By the way, does anybody know why we calculate (1) [PhysMax-PhysMin]/[DigMax-DigMin] (let's name it Ratio) and multiply it with our recorded data? (2) and how do we get the offset formula: PhysMin-DigMin*Ratio? Sorry, I c...
